About Linda J. Himot
Linda J. Himot is a retired psychiatrist who has returned to her childhood pleasure of writing stories and poetry. She graduated from Cornell University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where she was on the faculty before entering private practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Linda now resides in the Tallahassee area.

Much of her inspiration for her stories, books, and poems comes from her observation of people and dogs. She has been published in such journals as The MacGuffin, River Poets Journal, CCNY Poetry in Performance and The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature to name a few.
